Executive Coaching

My clients entrust me to be a keen and intuitive observer and guide in their development as people, employees, business owners, and leaders. Coaching is deep, honest, and vulnerable work for those open and curious about their own growth and potential.

For some, it’s about having that neutral sounding board to navigate difficult decisions, relationships, and challenges. For many, it’s a unique opportunity to get clear and actionable feedback and tools while being able to focus on goals, growth, and challenges.

Who is coaching for?

Executives face many challenges in their roles. Whether it’s shifting from a contributor to a leader, moving from overseeing a team to a larger area of the business or simply navigating relationships at all levels, many find themselves running into pain points that can’t always be addressed or supported internally.

While each client journey is distinctly different, after two decades of coaching, there are some common themes I observe. My clients are highly successful, driven, top performers who may be experiencing challenges around working relationships (peer, senior leaders or directs), influence, burnout, leading change, communication, decision making, driving engagement, and dealing with conflict.

Outcomes my clients can expect

  • A greater sense of self and purpose.
  • Clarified personal and business goals with action planning.
  • New capabilities and tools to lead and manage more effectively.
  • Increased emotional intelligence, which is directly tied to leadership success.
  • Increased ability to influence others and navigate conflict.
  • Greater resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to think through critical business challenges with a neutral sounding board.
  • Deeper self-awareness tied to impactful behavioral changes.
  • Awareness and ability to shift harmful narratives of self and others.
  • Be better positioned for career advancement.
  • Increased executive presence.

The Executive Coaching Process

Six months of dedicated support tailored to boost your personal and professional growth while facilitating lasting transformations in habits and behaviors. This journey benefits not only you, but your team and organization.

1 - Compatibility

Every coaching process begins with trust and rapport between coach and client. This initial consultation is designed to assess readiness and discuss your hoped-for outcomes and any concerns. Ask me any questions about my approach, the process and what to expect when working together.

2 - Assessment

We begin with a comprehensive live 360-degree assessment, engaging with colleagues at all levels, to gain critical insights into your strengths and areas for development. You’ll receive a detailed summary report containing high-impact, behavior-based feedback that will inform our strategic focus. Additionally, we harness a range of multi-rater assessments to evaluate leadership and emotional intelligence competencies.

3 - Deep-Dive

Tailored specifically for you, this intensive session focuses on deepening self-awareness, providing valuable insights and tools, and enhancing your capacity to implement innovative strategies for personal growth, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. We will identify high-impact next steps to root new behaviors, mindset, and approaches for long term sustainable success.

4 - Sustainment

Following our deep dive, you’ll start putting your new strategies into action, which may feel challenging. We will have coaching calls every 2-4 weeks to unpack and strengthen your efforts and tackle new challenges. This is also a time I like to connect with your manager or HRBP to assess your efforts. This is done with your prior approval as our work together is completely confidential.

5 - Review

At the end of our initial engagement, we will assess your starting point and accomplishments. From there we determine if additional support is beneficial or if the coaching engagement is complete.

I was lucky to have had Jennifer as my executive coach when I landed my first C level position. It was a complex time not only professionally but also personally for me as I had become a CMO while having my first child and had taken on a large role at a pivotal point in my life. Jennifer and I instantly clicked, and she helped me recognize the imposter syndrome that was holding me back. She not only helped me reclaim the inner confidence I had but also helped me find my voice as a leader. Most importantly she really helped to arm me with valuable skills and tools on how to navigate corporate culture, build high performing teams, lead and influence within an organization. The tools and insights she provided me with made me realize that I had been using a one size fits all approach and that instead of expecting people to adapt to me and getting frustrated I would be so much more effective adapting my style to what would work best with them to achieve the same goal. It was quite transformative to suddenly have insight and tools to guide me as I was navigating difficult situations of leadership during unprecedented times of change. I highly recommend Jennifer to any executive that is looking for insight into how to be a better communicator, a more versatile and adaptable leader, and be much for influential within complex and diverse organizations. Her approach is compassionate but direct, insightful and extremely impactful. I know we will be working together throughout my career - I only wish I had found her sooner!
