What is Facilitation?

Somewhere in between training and coaching, clients have a different need. Perhaps they are struggling as a team to align on a particular course of action. Maybe there is conflict between key employees. That is where facilitation comes in. 

When Should You Use A Facilitator?

  • The size of the group that needs to align is large and across various business units. 
  • There is a history of disagreement stagnating progress.
  • There is conflict between key colleagues that is impacting innovation, progress or morale.
  • You simply need an expert in facilitation to ensure a key meeting runs well and ends with clearly defined actions and roles.

What Is My Role?

My role as a facilitator is to be the orchestra leader for critical conversations.

While you are the subject matter experts, I’m there to set the ground rules, draw out thoughts and ideas from all participants, ensure everyone gets a voice at the table, capture and synthesize key points and keep the meeting focused on core outcomes.

I create a safe and respectful environment to have tough conversations or debates without spiraling into tangents or attacks that inhibit progress. The end goal is to align on necessary solutions or next steps.
